LOWES EMPLOYEE CHARGED WITH REFUND FRAUD AND SHOPLIFTING AT LOWES

Joy Caines was charged with refund fraud-$500 or less and four counts of theft by shoplifting.

Caines allegedly unlawfully obtained a refund of $249.08 at Lowes by receiving a false receipt from customer Joy Caines while working as a customer service employee and then providing a cash refund for merchandise that Caines did not bring into the store or purchase on March 1.

Caines allegedly shoplifted multiple items at Lowes on February 8 with a total value of $355.94.

Caines allegedly shoplifted multiple items at Lowes on February 8 with a total value of $197.22.

Caines allegedly shoplifted multiple items at Lowes on January 12 with a total value of $333.60.

Caines allegedly shoplifted multiple items at Lowes on February 8 with a total value of $699.96.

Caines was given a bond of $10,000.
