TWISTED PYE KITCHEN CLOSES TEMPORARILY
At 9AM today, Twisted Pye Kitchen & Cocktails in Douglasville announced they would be closing on their Facebook page.
”Thank you Douglasville for a wonderful experience! We will regroup as a partnership group and identify new leadership to improve our commitment to excellence! #StayTuned for Updates”
THey also stated “We will be closing to regroup as ownership and management to decide on how to improve operations and give a better experience. Stay tuned for next steps.”
Most people in the comments were shocked over the decision. Yelp, however, told a different story. A lengthy two star review was posted on March 1 stating that they had waited almost two hours for their food, and when it did come, the pizza was “so paper thin and soggy that it just flopped with toppings sliding off in the grease.” The customer stated the pasta had been overcooked. Another customer stated they sent their pizza back “twice for being undercooked.” A one star review on February 20 stated their food was lukewarm and “everything that’s on the menu is not available.” One star reviews were posted on several occasions.
