WOMAN CHARGED WITH PRACTICE OF DENTISTRY WITHOUT A LICENSE

Emily Rochelle Brannon, a resident of Atlanta, has been charged with practice of dentistry without a license and forgery in the first degree.

The crime ocurred on January 18, 2022. Brannon was arrested on May 29, 2025. Brannon allegedly forged a dental hygienist license to Byrd Dental that had been altered to appear that it was issued in her name.

According to a Georgia Board of Dentistry report from April 7, 2022, Brannon had also been allegedly operating a dentistry business without a license in Atlanta.

According to a May 24 article from Sevierville newspaper The Mountain Press, Brannon allegedly was arrested in Sevier County, Tennessee on May 22 and charged with fugitive from justice.

Brannon is currently in the Douglas County Jail with a bond of $24,000.
